Sarah Harling 

Bsc(hons) Physiotherapy, MCSP, ACPIN, HPC

Sarah graduated from the University of Manchester in 2005 as a chartered physiotherapist, since then she worked for Cardiff and Vale NHS Trust. 

During this time she has gained vast experience in neurology and rehabilitation having spent time working in areas such as general community medicine, stroke rehabilitation, neuro rehabilitation and spinal injuries. Currently is a senior physiotherapist in the Stroke Unit within the Cardiff and Vale NHS Trust. Sarah is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and is fully registered with the Health Professions Council.

After your initial assessment treatment options could include:-

• Exercise programmes

• Rehabilitation post hospital admission / illness

• 24 hour postural management

• Advice and education

• Balance re-education


Pure Neuro Physiotherapy has great links with several musculoskeletal physiotherapists around South Wales and is able to offer appointments at Penarth Physiotherapy Practice, Windsor Road, Penarth or at the International Athletic Stadium, Leckwith, Cardiff. For patients around the Caerphilly area appointments are also available at Baseline Physiotherapy at Caerphilly Business Park. All clinics have disabled access and facilities. However, if patients find it difficult to access the community due to mobility issues for example home visits are available.

A thorough initial assessment will take around 1 hour to complete, at the end of the session problems will be identified and an appropriate treatment plan and exercise programme to meet your needs will be devised.

Pure Neuro Physiotherapy is happy to accept self referrals, or referrals via your GP or Consultant. Appointments can be made via email or telephone.

Prices for assessment and treatment are available on request. Should patients not be able to attend or re-arrange their appointments cancellation fees may apply. Patients are expected to pay at the end of each session via cash or cheque.  

For assessment and treatment purposes suitable clothing is expected ie loose,comfortable clothing and suitable footwear.
